February 15 2019

  • The Augustana Volleyball team's are in action this weekend. "Join us for the Augustana Vikings Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Men's & Women's Volleyball Regular Season Game vs. Keyano College at the University of Alberta Augustana Campus Gymnasium! The women's game gets underway at 6pm, followed by the Men's game at 8pm!" 

 

  • To celebrate its 10th year, Nordlys (Norwegian for “northern lights”) will once again be showcasing an eclectic blend of award-winning films from Canada and around the world. Opening the festival is Maudie, a biographical drama about the life of Nova Scotia folk artist, Maud Lewis. The film’s producer, Mary Sexton, from St. John’s, Newfoundland, will be in attendance for the Friday screening and Q&As with other special guest filmmakers will take place throughout the weekend. On Saturday night, the Blake Reid Band will be featured in the documentary No Roads In with concert to follow. Come and experience the Nordlys Film & Arts Festival and prepare to travel to far-flung destinations from the comfort of your theatre seat.   • Matthew Good- one of Canada's preeminent voices in music today. In the 20 years since the release of his debut album, he has been prolific in his output. Matthew's studio albums have combined for nearly one million albums sold in Canada alone.   • Camrose Firefighter's vs Camrose Police Services in a fun and friendly charity hockey game in support of the Special Olympics Camrose and Special Olympics Alberta. This fun family event take's place at the Max Mclean Arena at 3:00pm. Admission is by donation. This event is being brought to you by Align Builder's.
