With the first day of spring behind us already were starting to see an increase in real estate questions, showings and inquiry's. People have had enough with old man winter and want to get outside. One of the question's we seem to get often these days is "When is the best time to sell my home?" There is no crystal ball out there that tells us when to buy and when to sell (although that would be pretty neat) but the advice we give our clients is that if you and your family are ready then now is the time. Whether it be the middle of winter when typically activity is slow or the spring season when we generally see more transactions, if your family is ready for the next chapter, then now is the time. Like most industries, real estate has its busy season's and slow down periods, but chances are no matter what month you decide, someone, somewhere is looking and your property may be just the one they are looking for.
